Completely Irrelevant, but Completely Gross

This post is completely irrelevant, but its amazing the oddball things you can stumble across when reading on the internet. I was checking out some story on popular science (or some similar site), and here's what I find. I hope I never do an open water swim where I encounter any of these , especially the rock snot.
